Good morning. This is my first post here.

I´m a member of a motorcycle club in Asturias, in the north of Spain. Yesterday, a 42 years old man from the UK had a motorcycle accident here and died. He was in a route in Spain with a group of friends, I think eight motorcycles. Some of my friends arrived to the place just a few minutes after the crash.

Some days ago we had decided to plant a tree in a forest to remenber friends who had died. The place we have selected is "Alto del Fito". It is only ten miles from the place of the accident. We met there every year in the morning of december 31st. Last time we were 165 motorcycles.

Today is the day we we will plant the tree. Yestarday, we decided that one or the bikers that will be remembered every time me meet there will be this boy forn UK, whose name we dont´t know.

And in you came to Spain, you kwow that there is a place where he has a tree with other bikers.

That is very decent of you Jose Smile

I think we get a little too used to saying 'so what its just another biker we didn't know' in this country / on this site. I can see the reasoning for not dwelling on these things, but a little kindness goes a long way. I have noticed a lot of countries in Europe generally have a more respectful view of anyone who has a passion for something, I really think that's a good thing.
