Thanks for sorting those pics out didnt know how to do that.
I think its the actual number plate is just fitted slightly wonky,i aint got around to sorting it yet though been having to much fun just riding it.
There's a few other things i need to do like get rid of a few of the stickers the previous owner put on,service it which sounds like a bit of a ball ache. Also the previous owner lowered it by 30mm so i need to put the original dog legs thingys back on and set the suspension up on the rear abit better ( im about 5 stone heavier than prev owner).
Have to say i love it though,it sounds amazing with the s.p.e.s exhaust system on, burbles and pops on the overun
Has anyone any tips on what to look out for with these bikes,im fairly new to biking so dont have lots of experience mechanicaly and any cool mods what go well with it. |

I love it..bit vibey and needs to be in the right gear or they sort of bounce if the engines straining.Other than that its ace.Going to cadwell on it in august which is about 115 miles which i imagine will be knackering but its not what they are made for.
My dad borrowed it last week for his 30ish mile commute and said he couldnt wait to get off,but i put that to him being a middle aged old fucker! |
It's mono cylinder right? It should be quite rough/wild for a commuter I once had CB500 for short trip and the guy had a ixil can on it, with no db killer, dynojet this k&n that, well I was quite deaf and the bike was very wild and aggressive. When I cut the throttle for very first time it felt like it had a rope tied to the bike and lamp pole and the rope just ran out The carburetos had stronger springs in them, so when you cut the throttle it practically stops the bike I think it wouldn't stop, it'll drop the revs to idle and bike would still go on like 5mph ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ
