Been offered a CBR1000RR in HRC colours in P/X for one of my cars.

It's 2010, on 3300 miles.

Anyone got an idea what these things are worth?

Cheers

Looks like that's the one, yes mate.

Looking on Ebay, the prices do seem a bit all over the shop!

It does look well though, might do it!

Yes, and I've pitched it to sell at £6k, shouldn't take long to shift at that.

Surely if your trying to sell it at 6K your better off trading for a bike that you could easily sell for at least £500 more?

100% Worth the P/X

I'm a car mechanic and i must say they do have some common issues like the rear main oil seal tends to be something that's faulty on some models.

Sounds a good deal i would take it any day, chances are if you listed the bike on eBay with the correct spelling, plan the listing out, get some good pictures you will have more chance of selling it for more than other listings,

^ source is my own personal experience of selling items on eBay

You've lost me.

What would you say a value is for this bike? Looking around, I think £7k would be achievable.

I'm not trying to trade it but it's an option available to me.

If its as tidy as the bloke says it is then i reckon its got to be worth 7.5k.

As it is the asking price is quite low (obviously as long as its kosher).

I may have mis-interpreted

You said you had the car priced at 6K for a quick sale, so I'm assuming you want the money sooner rather than later.

So if you've been offered a trade for a bike worth say 7-7.5K, then you could price that low, at say 6.5K, still make a quick sale but have money money at the end.

I like to turn things over as quickly as possible but maximising profit.

Is that not exactly what this thread is about? Laughing

Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. I think Wink Shocked

Laughing Just was after a rough value from people in the know as prices were a bit all over the place.

Think the deal's done Thumbs Up
