What are those black things just above the stanchions on your forks? Are they fork adjusters? Seen 'em before on a couple of other bikes, wonder if I should have some.

Nope they're just fork protectors. Helps stop the forks getting pitted from things flying up from the road i guess

The scenery is absolutely stunning. Are all the country roads paved there?

Yeah most of them are. These were taken in woburn woods, there is a direct route through the woods which is paved, then many roads off along the route which change to mud. Good for an adventure bike i guess, didn't fancy it on my hornet today Smile

Ja, you wouldnt get far with those tyres. But that stunning scenery I would be looking for gravel roads to get off the beaten path.

Looks like you had a nice peaceful ride with little traffic and plenty of twisties. Very good riding conditions.

The Addam's family is missing a member.

It appears to be crawling up your number plate.

At least he's being sensible, kitted up and all. Too often I see the rider in full gear but their passenger in jeans/trackies and without gloves.

It's anything like mine, I can do 85-90 before turning my head forward after a livesaver becomes difficult.

Yeah same, anything over 90 is more of a mission to do lifesavers. Up to there it's not bad though

I find 90 for any period of time a bit of a struggle, wouldn't want to sit at that speed on a motorway.

That is fast for no protection. I find if I stand one the pegs above 130, about 80 mph?, The wind just takes me. Put I have one of those peaked off road enduro helmets not the smooth full face that you have.

Even a small wind screen can make 160 kmh comfortable. Why dont you put one on?

I've got one of these, but I don't think I really want to use it... Don't do long distances on the bike really leave that to the car.

This is getting confusing. I meant at least 'Thing' was wearing his safety gear when riding on the back of the bike. Laughing
