lol should of thought about that lol

Mr. Green

Alpha. It's more cosmetic changes. like that stripe they stoped making the silve model and have a dark grey/black and the ring around the headlight is black rather then chrome. not sure what else is different. o yeah there 125 is gone now lol

Rode one for my CBT retake yesterday, so comfy compared to my CBR125 but hated the gearbox. The school bike only had 10,000 on the clock and was a rust bucket so look after it dude.

A GN or YBR?, they're both great bikes. i prefer the engine on the GN sounds more like a bike. but the YBR is a lot more quick and better gear wise

Ybr's seem to be getting more sporty looking every year... One thing i cant stand about them is the exhausts they put on them though.

Haven't ever really liked the YBR series in any incarnation but I do like the paintwork on that one Thumbs Up

Those little placcy flaps at the front though and exhausts are getting progressively worse (thankfully not as bad as the whale dicks they've stuck on the CBR series now).

First CBT was on a GN (Hateful thing) and the retake last week was on the YBR.

Yeah the YBR is a better ride. Quicker better gears more higher up. But the engine on the GN sounds better turns heads sometimes

Doesn't that front L plate position pull you over into oncoming traffic? Laughing
Can't you stick it to the front of your speedo or something?

The YBR's look like a nice bike.

The only thing that puts me off is that they are only 10bhp when you are allowed 14.6bhp on L plates.

I had an SR125 on my CBT and it was dreadful, slow clunky gearbox and designed for someone a lot shorter than me.

I agree but it's really nippy for what it is. usally get to 30mph in 2nd/3rd gear quite easily. get to 60 fairly easily to. compared to the GN its much better

What was the thought process on buying a new 125 instead of doing your test?

Im not to fussed on bigger bikes. I want something to get me to work, plus im saving up a lot of money to do other things (house and that) and wanted something for a few years, Plus i have no NCB so insurance will be high.
