..... I want to take my test next spring, but think I may buy the big (bigger) bike during this winter
does anyone agree that this may be a good idea
also My heart is set on a 500cc having thought long and hard
I am stuck on a GS500F (faired version) or an ER5 or I quite like the CBF500
As my user name suggests I prefer the retro style of bikes, I like to see moving parts (strange) but I also need to keep the bike cheap as this is my justification in buying a bike
Does anyone know where I could go and sit on these models to get a general feel for which bike would be most comfortable, I am in east Anglia Nr Cambridge ____________________ https://domharnessphotography.webs.com |

Buying a bike in the winter would be good as it's harder for people to sell their bikes at this time of year so you could get them cheaper than you would at the start of summer. ____________________ Honda NSR125R -> Suzuki GSXR400R GK76a -> Kawasaki ZX636 B1H -> Honda CBR400RR NC29 -> Nothing |

As I just said to someone else, January is a good time to buy. Everyone is skint and flogging their old bike to raise some extra cash or selling their old bike after getting a new one for christmas. Noone is buying at that time so you could get a good bargain. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. I've been thinking of doing the same myself!
It seems to be a good time to buy, the only problem will be,
trying to stay off the new machine until I pass my direct access. |
