Hi Guys,

Just joined the forum so I thought I'd say hello.

Passed my direct access back in May and currently in the process of looking for a Steet Triple - In Roulette Green or Scorched Yellow. Any opinions on the colours are very welcome?! Very Happy

Cheers.

Dont go for yellow. For some reason flies like yellow bikes and you'll be forever cleaning it.

That and you'll look a tit in matching leathers.

Welcome to BCF.

Tell me about it. It's the insect equivalent of those big titted women in the Karma thread. Every insect for miles wants to blow their goo all over it, and they do. If it's major fly season, wash it about once a month at most, anything less is a total waste.

Black goes fine with yellow.

It is very high viz as a colour. If you get a SMIDSY on a bright yellow bike, they should be done for blindness.

<Adonoidal Fact Nerd>Actually, the MAIDS study found that yellow bikes, and only yellow bikes, were significantly more likely to be involved in collisions.</Adonoidal Fact Nerd>

Is it a bike or a dulux colour chart..? No self respecting biker should describe their bike in anything other than the relevant primary colour.

Honestly, we'll be asking about the merits of Timotei vs Pantene next.

Welcome btw from the owner of a lovely baboons arse red viffer...

I've seen the pictures of your bike when browsing the photo section Dave, it's lovely!

What exhausts are they? And how do they sound? I'll definitely be getting an aftermarket system for mine and much prefer the look of the underseat cans to the lowboy systems.

The Exhausts are IXil Xtreme (50th Anniversary) they do sound great, get lots of compliments but are very loud, they do (sometimes) get on my tits so may out them for the Arrows...There's a STriple who lives on my estate with what sounds like unbaffled Arrows and they sound just right. They are pricey though.

When you get her make you you post up some pics Thumbs Up

Dave
