the difference between an X-ring and an O-ring is the shape of the ring.
https://www.drivesinc.com/X-RingFlyer.pdf
Where that shows the x's in an O-ring the shape of the rings is an O not an X.
Basically an X has four contact points to keep the lubrication in the chain where a o rig only provides two.
So in theory a X-ring should last longer.
If you really want a chain to last though, scotoilers are great. ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!
