I can't believe it - as long as Andy and I have been together, one or both of us has owned a two stroke and now it's the end of an era as I've just watched John ride off on my old TZR. If he's half as happy with her as I've been over the years, he'll be a very happy man!

So, a garage with just four-strokes in - I feel strangely grown up now... Shocked

Oh well, turning your back on two-strokes is good enough for the likes of Rossi, it's good enough for the likes of me. Thumbs Up Very Happy

Imagine if all bikes were 2t. Think of those 1000cc 2t engines.

Imagine the fuel bill! Laughing

sports 750 2 strokes were uncontrolable, they could shred a rear tire in a lap if ridden as close to the limit as the rider would dare. seeing and hearing performance 2 strokes, expecially those of high capacity has become a rare treat now thats to sky high fuel costs and emissions rules.

The noise of a 2 stroke in the powerband and the feeling you get from powerbanding one is an expirence many will sadly never know. Still its all progress and seeing the back of the stinkwheels can only be a good thing in the long run Crying or Very sad

Hi

Buy another 2 stroke. You must. 2 strokes are compulsory.

As a short term fix I am sure G will lend you the mini Moto. Start and run that in the house for a few minutes to get your fix of the 2 stroke smell.

All the best

Keith

How dare you. Evil or Very Mad

And..... the cleanest burning engine happens to be a 2 stroke but this was only proven once the yanks had made their tiny little minds up about them forcing the 4 big manufacturers to stop spending money developing them and opting for boring old diesels.

As much as 2 strokes are endearing they do have some negatives which are very nasty. sports 2 stroke for winter commuting anyone? Laughing

Steam engines are great fun, but not practical hence they have died out and are now a thing purely for pleasure. 2 strokes are slowly but surely going the same way...
