Well, I'm a legal type by default, so I'll ask the obvious legal type question.

What are the circumstances surrounding your need to apply for an EPA?

BTW. Almost everyone I know, would not feel the need to discuss their EPA requirements on an open internets forum, not least one that happens to go by the name of BCF.

Are you an autopost software gone wrong, or has KORN/'G'/Warped suffered yet another brain hemorrhage?

If you're asking about the legal & technical aspects surrounding an EPA & don't wish to pay the extortionate fee of £600, then the helpline is probably your best choice.

But be warned, I made lots of mistakes that cost me dearly. There isn't a correct way to do these things that encompass's all situations, every case needs looking at with an experienced eye & if that experienced eye wants £600 then sometimes, in some situations, you'd be a fool for not paying it.

I insisted that my mother retain her 1/3rd share in her business despite being advised otherwise. For a paltry £3kish amount of money I denied her estate upon death of a figure 100x that amount.

All i need to know is if we have to serve the doner a notice? and also the only relatives they have are nieces and nephews do we give notice to all of them or just 3 of them? The guides contradict themselves on both counts!

The EPA was signed on the 1st of october 07 so is just an EPA! If it was after the 1st it then would be a LPA as you say.

Cheers TC much appreciated, just waiting for a letter from the Hospital confirming donor incapable. The social worker seems to think thats all Ill need to release the EPA from the solicitors so I can get the care package in place. Ill be in touch if that doesnt work.
