BTW. Almost everyone I know, would not feel the need to discuss their LetEPA requirements on an open internets forum, not least one that happens to go by the name of BCF.

Are you an autopost software gone wrong, or has KORN/'G'/Warped suffered yet another brain hemorrhage?

I have no idea what you are waffling on about! Wink
Let me correct my mistake. The EPA was sorted a few years ago, we now have to register it and I have a few questions to ask about the notices of attention for applying for it. I wasnt about to air all the details on here for sure!

Would not talking to the solictor that set it up be the best idea. Or any other to be honest... Rather than risking missinformation by keyboard experts Rolling Eyes

Solicitor wants over 600 quid for filling in the forms, fucking parasites Mad . I was gonna fill the forms in today hoping that we had someone who was in the game with a conscience Wink . I only need a couple of simple questions answered, nothing to deep, I just want to get i right 1st time seeing as me and my brother have to pay out £130 each just to register it. Its a depressing enough time as it is!
Ill ring the court of protection in the morning, they have a help line!

cheers

All i need to know is if we have to serve the doner a notice? and also the only relatives they have are nieces and nephews do we give notice to all of them or just 3 of them? The guides contradict themselves on both counts!

The answer to your first questions seems to be yes you do.

The answer to your second seems to be just 3.

Was the EPA created prior to Oct '07 ? It will be an LPA if its after that date, and people can get confused between the two (not saying you have).

The EPA was signed on the 1st of october 07 so is just an EPA! If it was after the 1st it then would be a LPA as you say.
Thanks for your reply. Thumbs Up

Powers of Attorney are not my areas of legal specialism, but we do have a department that do specialise in this area, and so if you PM me with a contact email address, I will be happy to ping you off an email with my works email address and then ask the questions on your behalf.

If that is of any help to you?
