Hey guys i dont know if ive posted in the right place here if not can a mod/admin point me in the right direction.

But I'm coming to save up for a motorbike for myself.
Had pit bikes as a youngin and really cant afford a car and car insurance only working part time whilst at college.

But really what im looking for is a decent little run about something like a lifan lf 125 a few friends have had these bikes and they seem good for a first road bike.

I really cant be chewed with a moped they do my head in! especially leaving at 6am in the morning to go where ever i may be going.

but if anyone can point me in the direction of decent bikes similar to the lifan lfs or honda replicas or something you guys know more than me so ive came to yous! something thats hopefully under 100 pound a month to insure and gets decent mpg cheers

edit: and something second hand around the 400-500 quid mark! probably why im swaying toward replicas Razz

Under a hundred pound a month to insure?

You can insure an absolutely brand new 2012 honda 125 for less than 40 a month.

I'm gonna throw my 2 cents in here and recommend a used Honda CG125.

- Cheap to buy,
- Cheap to run, (Mine cost me £13 a month to insure before I passed my test and with no NCB)
- Reliable

Thumbs Up

I am going to throw in the Yamaha RXS100.

I know it isn't a 4 stroke or a 125, but is still faster than most newer 4 stroke 125's being 12bhp.

Also...

Cheap to buy
Cheap to run
Very reliable (especially for a 2 stroke)
Plenty around
Fun to ride.

The CG125 is a good bike also, but I don't think they are as fun to ride as the RXS personally.
