These are long overdue, but better late than never. Went to Beaulieu ride-in day with some BCF numpties, and these are the photos. Was a great day, with loads of bikes, so i'll leave it at that rather than include shots from Beaulieu itself.

Spot pinky sporting the nobcat t-shirt on a new ducati, and a few of the guys riding off at the end.

I'll let the pictures do the talking, can't be arsed typing after copying all this lot in! Mr. Green

Is this a regular thing?, I'm moving down to Totton/Marchwood area from up T'North and I think Beaulieu is nearby to that area.

As far as I know it's an annual thing. Very near Totton, yes. Beaulieu is definitely worth a visit anyway, great museum if youre into your motors.

Cheers, I'll make a note of that for next year then. I'm currently collecting a list of things to do including Bealieu museum, Tank museum, Submarine, Royal Marine one too. Not been to a museum in years but it's another new city and gives me something to do whilst I settle in so thanks for pointing that one out Thumbs Up

I think we had a guess that it was a Vmax, but it could honestly have been anything.

How does a bike handle with a front tyre that size? Surely there is a good reason most bikes arent made like that...

Modern bikes are just smaller front so it's easier to toe in I believe.

Look at older bikes from pre 70's, the majority of them have same size tyres from and back, a good example is the Sunbeam series.., heck even a modern day CG/YBR can have the same size tyres front and back, but then, they don't have the perceived speed to require a toe in..

Looks almost certain to be a butchered vmax. Without a picture from the side to see if it has the distinctive V4 motor, it's so altered it's hard to tell. The only real give away is it appears to have retained the massive air scoops on te sides of the tank.

That'll be my mate Phill and nice spot! His bike doesn't get all that much use or maintenance but I'll let him know it might be an idea to clean, lube and tighten at some point.

I used my trusty old D90 for these. Closer/wider shots were using the kit lens, and the rest were with the Sigma 70-200. Not bad, eh Cool
