Keep on top of the cleaning, if you want to keep it looking good. Chinese bikes like that are more prone to tinworm than even the cheapest Suzuki. The engine's solid, if underpowered, and I can guarantee you that the brakes will massively outperform the suspension. Yes, even that rear drum brake.

Also, you'll definitely be wanting decent tyres on there before too long.

All things ticked and I have a 50 gallon drum of ACF 50 ready for Autumn / Winter and a hose to apply it ^^

Build quality feels on par with cheaper Suzi's and feels a smidge better than Kwak KLX 125 (test rode, WOW! How did they sell such a bad bike at high price?).

Uh, right. Best to leave that sort of comparison until after its first winter. Chinese bikes can be OK, but they don't tend to stay pretty, and they have a habit of trying to either shake themselves apart, or they sell themselves to the god of oxidation. The first of these lifestyle choices is obviously the easier one to deal with.

I'm not trying to dampen your enthusiasm, but it's best to lay off the effusive reviews until you've discovered all the quirks first.

You'll also be needing this link - save it to your bookmarks. CMPO are the main stockist and supplier for spare parts for Chinese bikes in the UK, and they're pretty good.

Looks nice. GS125 motor by the looks of things. I too have ventured into the world of Chinese motorcycle ownership. It's been a mostly good experience so far but it's only done about 5 miles in my (partner's) ownership (to the MOT centre). Good luck!

I did my test on one of these, just watch for aggressive gear changing from 1st to 2nd the front wheel is quite twitchy.

I really like the look of those. Would be good to have a 250/400cc version with say 20-30bhp.
