Right guys,

Due to collect a new Hornet tomorrow and already sorted out bungs to be fitted. Hugger is also due from fleabay this weekend

Anything I need to sort out, or modify immediately (without everyone shouting 'ehxhaust upgrade') ?

I'm talking about fitting braided hoses or such

that's quite pretty in an odd way.

Not sure if the USDs suit it but it adds tart factor.

I've ridden the old hornet and found them to be comfy and predictable.

I've got an '05. I keep looking at other bikes, but love the Hornet so much I don't want to ever get rid of it...

You are a noob and it is brand new.

Everything on it is better than you are.

Upgrades are for sorting problems/inadequacies, until you experience one, just enjoy it for what it is.

P.S. nice bike Thumbs Up .

It's a 2010 model, but only registered yesterday, hence the price. Still got zero miles & full warranty

Blimey, I knew there's still plenty of 2011 stock around, but that's an eye opener. Shocked

My rear hugger doesn't seem to work. There is always crap splattered along the undertray.

I'd get a fender extender and a rack if you can, rack comes in very handy with a few bungees or a top box for a bit of security. Heated grips are nice too, but don't buy full price, you wont need them for a few months (hopefully) so just keep an eye out on Ebay and the like

Mmm, it's like looking at a picture of a supermodel and not getting so much as a semi on. Everything's there, but it seems so... calculated. Confused

Doubtless a brilliant bike though. Very Happy

Odd, considering its effectively a parts bin special (a good one at that). Calculated isn't the word I'd use.
