RGV 250
It was a money pit and is currently in bits in the garage of the guy i sold it to. It would have been amazing to have had the cash to restore it.

Don't miss many bikes to be honest, usually get something better. I do miss my old CBR400RR a bit but I'm sure riding it would shatter my rose tinted specs and it would seem pretty average. They do look nice though...

https://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Gallery/Honda%20CBR400RR%2087.jpg

My biggest vehicular regret was selling this as they're almost impossible to find now and it was in amazing condition...

Really wish I'd kept it, especially as the new owner crashed it within 2 weeks (RWD noob Rolling Eyes ).

Quite a few of them, really.

I miss my CD250U the most, just because it was a bike I felt so at home on. Loved it to bits, but in the end it had so many things that needed sorting (least of all the unobtainable exhaust system), that I sold it off for spares. RIP F926 KUD Crying or Very sad. I shall have another at some point.

https://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c390/chrisd87/DSC02665.jpg

My CD200 I miss primarily because I sold it for an absolute song to some illiterate who, judging by the fact the tax was cashed in a few months after I sold it, either wrote it off or blew it up. The price I sold it for was the going rate back in early 2008, suffice to say it'd easily go for double that now Confused.

https://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c390/chrisd87/DSC02361.jpg

I miss my Kwak GT550's abilities, but not really the bike to be honest.

Incredibly easy choice for me - this. Best 2T I had/have ever ridden. Utterly mad, sounded awesome, handled well. I will have another at some point. This isn't my exact bike but mine was an identical Pepsi rg500.
https://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j303/330paul/bikes/rg500.jpg

Incidentally, I remember my dad getting a Nissan 200sx identical to the one above brand new in September 1992 - K511 DPU. Was sold six years later with circa 180,000 on the clock!!!

Rd400 Used to ride it as a field bike when I was in my late teens. Abused and ruined it due to zero mechanical sympathy or knowledge.

I've no emotional attachment to it but would have liked to restore it and ride it as an adult

Me old GP100. First bike on the road, loved the freedom that came with it. Always smile when I think of it and partly because it was held together with Meccano and cable ties. Happy, simple days.

Still a newish rider who's only owned two bikes so can't really contribute... although I did get kind of misty eyed when my 125 was sold. Now I've got a big bike I basically do the following face when I think about chugging around my little XR:

In another twenty years you'll be buying a box of bits, that used to be an XR125, so you can rebuild it and get your mid-life crisis outta the way, just like the rest of us! Laughing

Yeah, I still enjoyed it to be fair, just for the nostalgia. But if I bought one again now, I suspect it wouldn't get ridden as much as looked at.
