Anyone have an tool for OZ Wheels? (10 point bit)

Hi all,

I removed my OZ wheels from my GSXR-1000 on Friday and had the intention of selling them on until I realised the 6 No. Bolts need to tbe tightened up prior to any refitment. The issue is that OZ, in all their infinite wisdom, decided to use bolt heads that need a special 10 point bit in order to adjust them.

It seems to be a popular request by car owners who have run into the same issue and they now have the ability to buy a female socket set from Laser Tools.

The bike wheels requires a male 10 point bit as opposed to the cars wheels needing a female socket.

Anyone have any ideas where I can get one? I've fired off an email to an OZ wheel supplier in the UK but I suspect they're going to want well over £100 for this fucking tool.

If the bolts need tightening, they must be loose. Un-do them with a flat screwdriver and replace them with normal scoket caps of the correct thread size and pitch.

Another option, is get a spare bolt from one of the car guys and weld it into a socket to make a driver for your female bolts.

will an allen key not fit? they look like double hex 12 point from the picture but it is a bit blurry,
have you tried tool places like machine mart etc? sometimes they will do a set for cheap money.
or as Pete said remove and fit capheads.

If you can give me the dimensions I could quite easily make you a tool to tighten them.

i would be making a tool its not hard if you dont have access to a welder and they are too tight to undo i suggest you get a hex bit and put it on a extension bar hammer it into the thread and undo! if that doesnt work drill+easy outs.
