I am pretty much clueless when it comes to modifications, so here goes.
I have a 02 speed4 (EFI). Is there anything to be gained by changing the stock air filter to an H&K hi flow or similar and getting a new end can? Will it need a remapping or will EFI sort itself out with the increased air intake?
Thanks ____________________ '02 Triumph Speed Four |

almost certain you will have NO noticeable gain's with what you said,
you will have a more " Deep " Duct noise, which will sound awesome and give a nice note
and with the exhaust you will be sure to get a raspy effect, so basically in short' terms, YES you will but it will be sound rather than power increase
Don't get me wrong you may have some gain's in some area's but i wouldn't have thought it will make that much difference.
with a quick Google search it's come up a lot of speed four's are running lumpy with these modification's and some people have had to have them remapped

You can modify the ECU using the tuneECU available from https://tuneecu.com/
That's better than a power commander!
Usually you can sort out the 2-4k rpm lumpy engine run, by just using this. No need for air filter and exhaust upgrades |
