A 4x4 turned into him trying to get into a petrol station cutting him off, I remember a little bit of the story being the bike was bumped into a telephone pole at quite some speed, he has rather impressive scars from surgery on his shoulder which took majority of the hit he was lucky the blood flow returned eventually and he seems alot better now trying to get his test done before Jan 2013.
Guy responsible had been involved in an almost identical RTA years before and the fact that in his statement to the police he couldn't even accurately remember the colour of the bike or my mates helmet and jacket showed how much he was paying attention.

Just googled Rooibaard  Big Al was indeed a hell of a character, shame I only met him once or twice when I was little 'un.
Will try to get hold of some more pics from that era
Keep meaning to take Mick up on the offer of having a go of the monkey, looks like a hoot to ride!
Just been fortunate really in meeting so many people with bikes (particularly in the same age bracket) it is one of those things that comes with time as you meet more people, rallies and local bike meets are good places to go meet like minded people , hell our local Maccies turns into an unofficial bike meet every so often so meet plenty of new peeps getting food after work.

Saw that at Barton Bike Night earlier this year. A real old tractor agricultural look (so that'd be a aka a Harley then  ). The details were actually very well executed.

Cheer fella  don't think there's many CBR 600's with that colour scheme around here.
Lid is a Shark S900 Eclipse
Now I'm on the phone wish I hadn't posted so many crappy photos of custom events and strangers bikes at meet ups should have kept it to just the odd special ones personal to me & my mates (bizarre when I realise 3 of the lads in the McDonalds carpark pic from 2012 are 6 foot under  )
