Trust me if I could avoid asking this question here I would Smile
I have just bought a new Bike Jacket. On the inner removable lining at the cuff end of the sleeve there are poppers that appear to have no use. They do do not fasten the inner to the jacket so I am wondering what there use is? [/img]

Are you 100% sure they don't attach the inner jacket/lining? That's what the poppers in mine do.

Possibly a liner that fits to more than one jacket, saves having to design a different liner every time a jacket style changes.

They probably hold the winter lining in place when it is in. Or, if you're me, you ripped them out when you tried to yank out the lining and now whenever you take your arm out the lining comes with it.

They are for attaching your mittens to so you don't lose them.

Same here too! They are on my textile Richa jacket. They stop you pulling the lining out as you take the jacket off. Thumbs Up

If they dont match the inner lining, has the inner lining just got a looped piece if elastic??

If so the popper goes through the elastic loop and attaches back on itself!

I had a jacket like that once cant remember the make

Definitely thought this thread would be about smuggling drugs into illegal raves.
