It says that you are able to cancel your mod 2 and get a refund if you give 3 working days notice.

My mod 1 is booked for this friday. If I book the mod 2 for the following wednesday, would I still be able to cancel it on the friday and get the refund if I failed the mod 1? I'm not sure if this counts as 3 working days.

Stupid question I know, sorry, but I can't figure it out. The wednesday is the only date within a month.

I'm not sure this would be enouvh, as it says it has to be cancelled with at least 3 clear working days. I'm sure the example given is if your test is booked for the Friday you must cancel on the Monday prior to get a refund, meaning you have to have at least 3 complete working days BETWEEN the day you call to cancel and the day of your test

Bear it in mind that the forcoming Monday is a bank holiday, therefore not a "working day".

Yes, that's my understanding as well. It's the traditional bank definition of "working days", which isn't what actual humans would expect.

They also don't define a working day (IIRC) so if you sit mod 1 on a Friday, you need to have mod 2 booked for the following Thursday to be safe.

I just booked the mod 2; the booking system said that they did indeed count saturdays as a working day, though telephone lines were not open on saturday. So if I fail on the friday I'll have to phone ASAP.

Question answered Smile

Simple solution,

Pass MOD 1!

As long as you've practised the course you should be. There's some good MOD 1 videos on youtube as well.

Good luck with both of them!
