When I renewed mine (with a different company) they didn't send the certificate out in time so the new company just contacted them.
May be worth asking if yours will do that?

Call your insurers and they will send you a genuine NCB proof letter, providing it's been less than 2 years since you were insured.

It might not of ended well with your insurance company but this is not just falling out with a mate.
If you do not owe them money then email them asking for your proof of no claims, if they fail to provide it then report them to insurance ombudsman or regulator.

If they've cancelled your previous cover then no proof of no claims is the least of your worries and expect a mahooosive increase in your premiums.

all the more reason not to give them a chance to shaft you. seriously stupid to try get round this system, if money is the driving force dropping cover level would be better. the companies have a database to confirm all the details with each other, however it tends to be accessed well after the policy is set up, saves them paying out multiple on one claim.

tbh if things like that hadn't crossed your mind i would suggest and actions where you are less than 100% should be avoided.

it doesnt make a crap bit of difference if you parted on bad terms.

unless you have a court order telling you your not allowed to contact the company or any of its employees then they must legally provide you with the certs. granted they CAN charge you for them. but w/e.

illegal/fake docs are not worth it, you WILL get caught, prosecuted then ass raped while behind bars....

or is that why you want to do this?

Puh, I've lost count of the number of fake docs I've made and used over the years, and caught for none of them. It's about sensible and appropriate use, not that they scream "FAKE" from a secret watermark.

Don't fake the documents, just phone the insurance companies and ask them to send you proof of no claims.

You know that question when you're getting an insurance quote when they ask "Have you ever been refused insurance?" and you reply "Yes, I faked two insurance certificates to get my no claims"

You'll never get insurance again.

Not that it's something I'd do, but surely he'd just lie and fake new certs if he's prepared to do it for a couple of years NCB... I don't think we're getting the whole story here at all Very Happy

For once, he's stumbled onto something. Worst case, file a "subject access request", pay £10, get all the information that they hold on you.

Of course, since NCD is entirely a fiction of the insurance industry, there's no "certificate" for it, and they might answer "Dunno what you're on about."

Each time I have had to renew I have been asked for my old insurer and policy number so they can check my NCB. It seems they done the legwork.

On a side note, posting a thread asking to defraud insurance companies and lie for you on a public forum is a bit daft, especially when you consider some insurance companies have posted replies to "bad experiences" on BCF.

plus authorities only have to check your posts for pictures of your bike, check for your reg number and check the details to get your real identity.
