 |
|
Hi all,
This is going to sound like a strange request, please forgive me.
My company is about to carry out tests with some state of the art film equipment, the aim is to capture aerial footage of a particularly beautiful location in Wales (pics attached) and put the camera equipment through its paces, I'm looking for an experienced motorcyclist to come down and be part of the shoot.
The pay a £150 per diem, plus expenses. The bike will be a Norton 650SS or similar, that we can provide along with specific clothing and we're not looking for anyone to perform stunts or ride dangerously in the slightest. The entire operation will be insured and though the footage is for in-house purposes you are of course welcome to a copy.
There is a catch. We've been carrying out test footage for a few weeks now and had planned to film with a female motorcyclist called Chesca, but she is no longer available.
Unfortunately we've matched up other footage to her body type and in order to make the entire thing cut together we need a motorcyclist who conforms to her proportions or similar I.E. is female and/or relatively slender. It's important to point out that she'll be wearing a leather jacket and helmet and so I'm not looking for identical at all.
If anyone reads this and thinks they might be right for the part, or knows someone who could or would be interested, or you have any suggestions as to how I go about finding such a rider, I'd be very grateful.
There is no acting required, speaking, or talking or anything other than your ability have a blast while riding a classic through spectacular winding roads.
Best

Hi guys, sorry I thought I selected that I could be contacted I'll try to fix that now.
Kawakid.
Chesca Miles is a female motorcyclist and stunt rider, but I do not know her proportions exactly, however Margaret, our stand in for her, was 5'11, and 32/24/36.
The point was that it was only a relative match, height and bust size are less important than build.
Sorry again, I didn't make it clear, Yes, a man can apply. "I.e. female and/OR relatively thin." But were a man to apply, a wig would need to be made and fitted.
I didn't mean to cause offence. |

Why's this getting all the neg karma? Seems like a genuine request (however you could include some more information, like what company, tests, etc).
Even if you do get raped by the crew, you will still have a cool video of you riding through some awesome roads, albeit in a wig and padded bra. ____________________ Current Bikes:Honda 929RR Fireblade, Honda CD200 Benly (Project), Stomp Z2 140

The equipment is an aerial drone controlled by a director and a flight coordinator; though it's custom built, there are similar devices you can search for (the Cinestar 8). The camera itself is a Red Epic, the same used to shoot Spiderman, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Prometheus, Gatsby, The Hobbit etc. |
I'll do it. I'm 6'5 and 19 stone will that be a close enough match? ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.

Can the female have a knob.
I can get a bra.
I can get socks.
I am used to squeezing in tight leather.
How much expenses are we talking here? Travelling to site? I drive a Veyron.
Cheers |

Chesca Miles crashed[*] pulled out on you?
It's a straight up offer, well phrased: maybe we could be civil and helpful for once? Give it a try, see how it feels like. Just put the tip of common courtesy in.
