heres hoping somebody can help, just aquired a 1992 xj600 in quite a sorry state wiring has been butchered with connectors removed left right and center including the connectors for the ignitor/ecu/cdi. so was hoping somebody could tell me, or have a diagram or photo of the wiring as it goes into the ignitor connector block. ive got 8 wires, just need to know which coloured wire goes where as this is not clear on the schematics ive managed to find. will be mega gatefull for all help recieved especially if i can breath life into the old girl once more.

I dont think the N was introduced until a couple of years after the 1992 model.

thanks for the help guys, but still no further forward, already found schematics you suggest, but when compared with the actual unit its not clear which coloured wires connect to which terminals on the ignitor.

Quote:
blue > clutch switch + relay assembly
red+black > kill switch
black > battery
grey ignition coil
orange > ignition coil
yellow + black > plug wth black, brown, blue and such
red + white > pick up coil
green > pick up coil

Will be a pita to take a pic plus mines a 1999 n so a shit lot different.

rotate the wiring diagram till you understand which parts which and follow the wires

thanks, but know which wires are which but cant figure which wire goes to which pin in the ignitor, there are 12 pins in two rows of 6, and i have 7 wires, and dont have the origonal connector block as reference as the loom has been well butchered, thanks for all the help so far though, will just have to keep looking, the answer is out there, somewhere!
