Yeah it was mate... I was told I had to watch it, and had it downloaded for the last 2 years but never got round to watching it. No one ever told me what it was about so I had no idea.

I feel like I need a shower after watching it!!

Almost feel like i've taken a bunch of drugs and now on a comedown. If anyone I know wants to try heroin then i'm recommending this film. It was like a horrible version of trainspotting. Was really well made though but wow!

Clint Mansell soundtrack as well, now you know where that over used song comes from on just about any dramatic piece of media!

I thought it was massive attack originally, but turns out they sampled Clint Mansell.. Great soundtrack!!

I'm still pretty blown away by that film... Neutral

It's a pretty harrowing film, especially if you're an ex drug user (not heroin but can relate to the total scattyness).

I thought it was over rated to be honest, but think they got the basehead aspect spot on, gave me flashbacks of cold sweats and dirt that just wont wash off Laughing

I had it for a while thinking it is a film to watch when baked some time. I would manage about 20 minutes each time and it would be too depressing/trippy and had to turn it off.

Watched it totally sober and it was pretty good but still not a "nice" film. Very depressing.

I could relate to a lot old it by comparing come down from other drugs, and they nailed it. The Wilden grinding her teeth, sweating, feeling nuts.. .me and my wife both felt aggie as fuck after the film and just argued over nothing. Really gets under your skin. Very well made. Would not watch it again though.

Definitely a messed up film! Watched it a few years ago when pretty stoned and it was fairly trippy Confused

However, Jennifer Connely getting ass shafted with a double dildo at the end was pretty cool! Lol Laughing

You should add a loofer and some industrial grade bleach to your ebay order to try and get rid of the horrible feeling you get after watching it off your skin. Maybe also get someone ready to hug you to try and cleanse your soul.

Had some fucked up dreams last night.

1999 new years eve. Me and about twenty friends having a house party. I was in a bad way, 6 grams of coke, endless Stella Artois and copious amounts of high grade had me in a coma, with my eyes open.
Towards 3am I looked around the room at my friends and nothing was real anymore, the music on radio 1 was dark drum and bass that brought all this imagery together like a nightmare. I felt like I wasn’t there anymore, looking at these people moving around like animals, like ants...I saw everyone in this light and had the sudden realisation we all meant fuck all to no one. At several points a sensation came over me like my heart stopped, the people stopped moving and when it felt like my heart pumped again, these people moved.

I spent two weeks in doors after, wondering what I’m doing. I didn’t touch class A’s for many years after that. When I watched requiem for a dream, that had an impact on me, the imagery of ants crawling, the dark music and the drug effects. Powerful film. Thumbs Up

This film is amazing but it's one that when I recommend to people with a warning - do not watch if you want to be happy at the end. I personally think it's quite refreshing for a film not to have a happy ending, I really like it, as depressing as it is, when you don't know it's all going to stay shit and you're routing for them, it really gets your emotions going!

nice job explaining how the film ends Laughing

You one of them people that says "Ooh watch this bit now something funny is going to happen"

But yeah I totally agree with you. It's nice to have a film that actually depicts real life.
