I have recently bought an MTX and the previous owner has taken some drastic measures to lower ride height. The most obvious is the seat has a lump carved out of it....I'm not kidding...

Well I have a spare seat now, but when my lad sits on the bike the suspension seems really low still.

Can the rear shock be adjusted for ride height ? Is this possible? I was thinking of an aftermarket shock off ebay but they look shorter than stock shock.
Thanks in advance for any help offered. Much appreciated.

Bike is K plate with a blue springed shocker.

Ive the ns, they arent adjustable. Watch out for some ebay ones may be bad quality. Try honda original parts or the likes on the net for a shocker.

£100 though is a big spend on a few hundred quid bike

Ta for the reply, I think Honda would want my first born and a kidney for a new shock:)
May keep an eye out for a decent secondhand unit.
