Here are some pictures of my Suzuki GSF 1200 K6, I hope you like them! Thumbs Up

What do you think about the wind screen? I got it shipped from US as I did not like any found in UK, leave a comment.

Cheers,

Giuseppe

It's a nice bike but the screen is fairly horrid.

Lovely looking bike... the screen though looks odd. But I don't like screens on naked bikes anyhow.

Nice looking Bandit Thumbs Up

That screen looks very much like a Puig which is available in the UK Thinking I do like transparent screens on Nakeds, allows motorway use without too much visual eeurrgh.

This is why I dislike Suzuki's.

That bike looks like it has really been looked after and is a credit to it's owner despite the fact it has obviously been cared for there is still a fair bit of corrosion on the fork legs and engine casings, my Triumph is the same age and by the looks of things cleaned ALOT less and is in better shape. My TDM at that age didn't have any corrosion on it and after 10 years ridden all year left outside and cleaned once/twice a year still doesn't have marks like that on it, just some paint flaking off of the engine.

It is pretty comfortable since I installed the wind screen. I have fit the wind screen bolts tight enough to keep it stable but still allowing me to manually adjust its height to a higher/lower position depending on journey type.

With the screen at a high position I can cruise at 70 mph sitting up-right quite comfortably .

The photos that I've taken have the screen at a low position, it can go down a further 2 inches or up roughly another 4.

As for the rest it is pretty reliable and comfortable bike, riding position is comfortable for both rider and pillion, it has plenty of torque for any kind of country roads not to need frequent gear shifts, unless I fancy to keep the engine revved! Mr. Green

I don't fancy much screens on naked either, but I also enjoy travelling at brisk pace and a decent screen makes a difference. Wink

I tried to look for something that did not change much of the original look of the bike but it just sat on top and can go further down if needed.

As I said I like naked bikes as they come out of the factory ... however having mounted one I feel my screen is 'fair' compared to most other screen I've seen mounted on other naked bikes.

However I appreciate your honesty! Thumbs Up

Actually in that picture the forks were just dirty after a ride down to Essex! Wink

However as for the engine chrome bit you are right, it got corroded after the last snow in London, I did not have a chance to wash it before the snow and I left it for a good month without riding it, enough for the damn salt splashed while riding the previous days to bite into those chromed parts of the engine!
