Cabin in the Woods 7/10

Very entertaining. Kind of gives the game away early on as to what is going on though.

District 13 8/10

Some really cool action sequences. The plot and script leave a lot to be desired and it is in French but is still good.

Batman TDKR 5/10

A disappointing end to the dark knight trilogy. Nothing beats TDK.

The Guard 9/10

Best comedy since Pineapple express. Highly recommended. The Artists pick of the week.

I found cabin in the woods extremely boring. The trailer gave the whole film away, which completely ruined it too.

Personally I loved the Batman.

9/10.

Wish it was longer.

Isn't District 13 like 10 years old? I like it though. One of the only french films i've watched as long with Taxi which is ace!

Have you watched it with the voice over, they speak in scouse/london accents ( it flits between the two ) and they miss out half of what they say...

The second one is even, shall we say funnier...

Agreed. Like it a lot though, Banlieue Treize is good, silly fun.

TDKR - 9/10 for me. It was a bit long, the baddie's character wasn't really developed at all and Anne Hathaway was only really good when she was bent over the bike in her catsuit - and where did her lesbian missus disappear to? Overall very good though, one of the best action films I've seen for years.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - 9/10. Having watched the series on BBC4 not so long agao, I was ready to be disappointed by this but I wasn't. At all. The casting is spot on, its tense, gripping, a lot quicker than the series and the sense of paranoia right at the top of The Circus is great.

Antichrist was awesome. Sort of film that really makes you cringe.
Best horror in a while.

It was cringe worthy, the where a couple of grim bits but nothing to write home about.

Source Code: 7.5/10

Really enjoyed it. Had a cool story line.

Jeff Who Lives at Home: 8/10

It was a nice happy film, I could see a lot of people give it a 5/10 but I liked the idea of connectedness and fate.

What to expect when your expecting: 4/10

Pretty pants, watchable with a few funny moments but nothing special.

You joking? First of all it had nothing to do with source code.

What do you mean? Don't care about the title just the content. Found it entertaining. Never heard of it before, just a random download. I imagine if there was a book then that would be worth a read.

I agree. Source code had an interesting storyline, but that was it. The film started to go a bit dry about half way through...

Wanting to hear how Dredd turns out, I so want it to be good and the trailer makes me hopeful but I'm waiting for opinions and reviews before seeing.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter 7/10 The plot though seems OTT actually does fit with the whole civil war/slave liberation of the era quite nicely I thought, but some sections seem to just fly over a bit quick i.e. Abes early life just seems to be a few flashy scenes then bang he's an old man which drags for a bit and the end though action packed could have been a bit longer.

The Avengers - 9/10

Cheesy but amazing CGI and action packed film just to sit back and enjoy without thinking about the plot. Even better in 3D.

Safe - 8/10

Classic Jason Statham action film. Loads of shooting and fight scenes.

Cabin In The Woods - 6/10

Enjoyable but as already mentioned, would have been better to keep the whole reason why all the stuff was happening a secret until near the end.

Hunger Games - 6/10

Loads of stuff in there that isn't believable. Like one scene where the girl is up in a tree and the others are trying to shoot her. Considering 2/3 of the shooters are hyped up as these ultra warriors in the training, they can't shoot a girl sat in a tree?

Safe House - 8/10

Love any film with Denzel in it, not so keen on Ryan Renalds though.

Dark Shadows - 6/10

Tim Burton casting Depp? What a surprise. Wasn't overly impressed with it to be honest.

The Raven - 8/10

Considering I have an unknown hatred for John Cussack, I actually liked this film. Decent film to watch.

As much as I like watching new films, I can't stop collecting older one's. I'd rather sit down and watch Goodfellas or Once Upon A Time In America than something brand new.

I would give the hunger games 7/10. Its a good film, but its nothing compared to the book. It seemed to rush through the storyline too much too and like most films made from books it missed a lot of important storyline. They didnt seem to portray the image of the districts being poor verry well either.

This film annoyed me, for one this fact that you brought up but also the ending, should of ended differently had the chance but were too cowardly.
