RXS 100 electrics

Picked up an RXS to tidy up and sell, the bikes tidy enough but the indicators are virtually non existent. The headlight/taillight are fine - or as good as they can be given 6v...bad earth maybe?

Also the neutral light refuses to go out when in gear now, any gear....I replaced the chain and sprockets and cleaned inside the casing, did I move/break something there? the oil light stays on too..both worked fine when I got it, unless the oil light should stay on until it's in gear?

the neutral switch is near by the front sprocket so you've probs nicked a wire or something

i cleaned up all the earths and connectors for the indicators, but they're still shit apparently.

I had thought it was the battery as it had been idle for months. Converting it to 12v crossed my mind but it's a fix and sell job and I've spent enough on it!!

Were I keeping it 12v would be a necessity...why are you still running 6v

not worth the hassle, the lights are acceptable and i don't ride it that much.

i would replace the battery though.

Not sure I agree ... I converted my last RXS to 12v, it was a considerable improvement over the 6v

The cost was about £40 plus about 2 hours fiddling.
