Hey All,
I have a brand new CBF 125 only a few months old and the right wing mirror is VERY loose and swings in when ever i ride. Where the mirror arm joins the handle bars i can never seem to get it to line up so its tight parallel (or close to parallel) to the handle bars, when i do get it to the right place it's loose and just swings back in. It started a few days ago when someone move my mirror to park their bike next to mine. But i'm not sure how to fix it as i've tried screwing back on about 20 times and it never ends up tight enough in the right place.

Is there a chance is slipped a thread when they pushed it?
If not what can i do to keep it in placed. I ride in central London and really need my mirrors Razz

There's usually a lock nut on the mirror spindle. If you adjust this then that will adjust the point at which the mirror is tightly screwed into the fixing on the bars.

If you havent got a locking nut, just get a nut that fits the thread and stick it and use it how you would a locking nut

So i would screw it onto the thread on the mirror and then screw that into the handlebars and then adjust with the nut? Sorry if that sounds retarded, i just wanted to clarify.

That's right yes.

There should already be a system on the bike for adjusting it though. If you can't see it then a photo would help.
