I've just passed my test and have been reading lots of motorcycle websites, mostly interested in the bikes I might buy next.

I've noticed that a lot of people commenting seem to be very rude, sexist and angry. I was thinking about going to a bike meet, but as a female I'm not sure I'd feel safe.

I'm guessing she's read a few posts on here to form that opinion. Laughing

She wants to go to some bike meets and form an opinion of her own.

I've never to a bike meet and not felt safe everyone appears friendly or just leave you alone.

I don't go to many bike meets, not because I don't feel safe but because they are boring as fuck.

Bike meets are usually a relatively safe environment.

''I've noticed that a lot of people commenting seem to be very rude, sexist and angry. I was thinking about going to a bike meet, but as a female I'm not sure I'd feel safe''.

From reading the above statement, I've built up a mental picture of the poster and I am fully confident that ''she'' would be completely safe under all circumstances:-

A bike meet is probably the only place I let my kids run riot knowing someone would bring them back when they got a bit annoying and I know they will be looked after.

Shes been on BCF. Just doing a goggle for "motorcycle forums" brings BCF at the top of the list. Laughing

But as above said. Bike rallies and meets are safe for the kids to run around in so the poor girl has nothing to fear.

Wonder if she checked out the Karma thread Very Happy

We should have that as the forum motto "BCF - They're all rude, sexist and angry"

What a stupid bitch, how dare she say we're rude, sexist and angry, she needs to get the fuck out or show her tits, because that's all women are good for.

Shifty

Also, you may be confusing "rude, sexist and angry" with "heterosexual male". I'll respect your uterinal anima if you keep your judgement away from my gonadic essence. Fair enough?

Indeed they should. We need to find some way of balancing out the corrupt young men that find their way there, and this is the most efficient way of doing so, I'm sure Laughing

urgh, nice mental picture here :

Quote:
Don't do it !
I recommend you stick to book clubs, chess clubs and crochet classes. But if you do decide to go to one, it'll help to blend in if you take a concealed weapon ( a short length of old motorcycle chain ) and a bag of suspicious looking white powder ( blend a gram of salt and soap powder if you can't get the real thing ). Do you have a denim waistcoat with some blood stains, serious skin problems, a greasy pony tail and a foul mouth ? If so, don't worry, just go. But don't be shocked by the sight of near-neanderthals with their knuckles on the ground, dragging their wimmin by the hair behind them. Just be yourself. Don't forget to buy a t-shirt.

I don't really wonder at all, MCN's "You ask you answer" threads are pretty obviously trolling for content to pad out the "Stoner carrying Rossi's alien baby" stuff that makes up the bulk of their rag.

Crowd control? Bit more humane than rubber bullets. Only marginally, mind you.
