Rumour mill says he will be moving there for 2013.

I say let him, get Di Resta in Thumbs Up

Great driver no doubt, but he is such a jumped up twat.

Not even in a 'makes the sport more interesting' way, like personalities of the past.

Probably be for the best, although i'm not convinced on mr. personality di resta going there... Sutil was getting better results in that force india.

although when he does spit his dummy out, lewis does speak his mind when he's being a mardy bitch which is better than the drivers who just tow the corporate line all the time, i honestly don't know why the drivers get interviewed so much, it's the same fucking boring shit time after time and di resta is the worse, the german drivers take the piss more and have a laugh Shocked

And Schumi to Ferrari for one year until Vettel's contract at Red Bull expires in 2014 and he moves to the Scuderia.

In other news, D'ambrosio to win in Monza.

It has been often proved, over the years, Bernie lets on a lot more than he knows.

Eddie Jordan has made a lot of claims that turned out to be complete BS.

Bernie Ecclestone too is also one for stirring, re Schumacher retiring.

IF it turns out to be true, I'd like to see DiResta move to McLaren, keeping the all-British driver lineup. Finns (ie Kimi) have a history of doing well at McLaren but I think he's contracted to Lotus for next year, although they can cut him loose if he does badly, which he isn't.

He's talking to Mercedes. He's already talked to Ferrari. He talked with Red Bull last year. None of this surprises me, you always talk in sport, nothing usually comes about from it. So it's not a sign that he WILL move to Mercedes, just that he is talking with them and he might.

If he does go though, and Massa leaves Ferrari too, that might create a wave of drivers playing musical chairs. I've always wanted to see big changes in F1 and MotoGP, more out of interest and curiosity as to who does well where than anything else. Don't think this will create quite as big a swap though, most drivers are in-contract still

I don't like Hammilton, he is the only driver that I know of to ever try and play the Race card.

You mean his tongue in cheek Ali G skit that was completely blown out of context by the press. "Is it cos I is black" having been awarded a punishment by race direction.

No one, I mean no one, could ever think for one second that this was anything other than tongue in cheek. Could they?

Or is there something else I am unaware of?

Agreed, he joked about it, he was never serious.

He just just frustrated that he kept getting being constantly dragged to the stewards when other drivers seemingly didn't for similar incidents.

Really? Many a true word said in jest? He has looked for any excuse for poor performance, he is a smug little twat.

Everyone thinks this about Hamilton now, but its ridiculous, and an old outdated opinion. Few years ago after his first season, yes. Now? No. He's a solid racer and he races to win. Gets pissed off like any other driver.

You are entitled to be annoyed if a race doesnt go your way, every driver does it.

Lewis goes about it in an unprofessional and immature way, I genuinely think he thinks he is above the sport.

His management are partly to blame, he seems to have surrounded himself with the wrong people, they just want to make a brand out of him (i.e David Beckham).

Great if all you wanna do is make money, not so good if you are a racing driver.

I think Mclaren will be convincing his management for him to stay, rather than lewis himself.

I used to follow Hamilton on twitter, until I got fed up with his 'Life is a gift, embrace the spirit' type shite he sprouts.

We need more motorsport personalities like Colin Edwards.

Why? What has Di Resta proved these last two years?

Di Resta is limited by his current team, and has so much more to give.
He will fit straight into McLaren, he has it written all over him.

Are there any reasons they shouldn't touch him?
