And no, for a change it wasn't me

Finished my lecture at uni. and wander back to my bike. On the way I spy one of the lads who parks his bike in the same area. I nod, but no response. Fair D, he's not likely to know me, but I recognised his CityFly.

So I get to the bike and start to unlock it. The CityFly is looking a little wobbly in the wind so I hurry up my unlocking. And then BAM! Locks off and the CityFly topples over. Smack. His front end, my front brake caliper It seems fine though.

But! The thing that got me was the idiocy of it! The tosser had locked his front wheel facing away from the kickstand! Of course it was going over... Plus, the tosser had chained his Shoei helmet to his bike, so that got crushed. Nobhead.

Fortunately another lad on a beauty Suze turned up so we lobbed the idiots bike against a wall and buggered off (it would have gone over again if we'd propped it up).

Just needed to rant, sorry Idiot could have ripped apart my front brakes and a lot more just because he's a nob.

I dunno. It was bloody windy the other night. My 660 supermoto blew off its stand and my T500 blew off its centrestand. Both of these bikes are VERY heavy. The supermoto actually went right over away from the stand despite it leaning over a distressingly long way when it is parked.

Fair enough mate, I can understand that. However, the wind in this parking spot is always very high. There is no way the guy can have parked his bike and had even the slightest notion that it was stable. I'd never leave my bike there in the open, let alone with the stand wrongsided (as it were). Plus, if you're going to just park randomly like that, at least put it far enough away from other bikes so it can't fall on them.
Although, I may have been a little harsh , but I was rather annoyed
