Next 125?

I have a Mito evo, 7 speed, 1998 italian import.
The bike is very quick, good looking and sounds like no other Mito ive heard.
But sadly the front faring is damaged and has a few other minor repairs needed to be done, that the guy before had left.
I haven’t got the time or money for either of these as my last 125 was stolen and has put me into debt, im wanting to sell the Mito to someone who has got the time for it for about 850-900 pounds.
After I sell the bike ive had a few offers from other bikers, one is a Italian import TZR,1993. And the other is an RS 125 Chesterfield.
I have always been into dirt bikes, ive had a TS50X, RX50, TS125R, KMX125 and my 2004DTR was the bike that was stolen.
The Mito is the first sport 125 ive had and I am hooked now, a lot of people have told me to keep the Mito as mine is a nice one and fast, are the bikes ive been offered anything near the Mito??
Anyone with experience of these models will be of great help.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother changing it. Keep hold of it either until you've run it into the ground or your points have cleared so you can take your test.

Well, the only thing that could replace your Mito is the RS. But it isn't that nice and they are so common!

The mito is rare... twists alot of heads in my city.

I will be able to take the test next month.
3 points will come off this month from 4 years ago.
The next in 2 months time.
If I have six should I do my test?

You will be on probation when you pass your test, 6 points and you get banned, so no you will not be able to take it I don't think Confused

As has been said if you take your first test with anything more than 5 points on your licence would mean an instant revocation of said full licence on passing the test under the 1995 New Drivers Act, though as I am aware though you would only need to resit the test again and you would get the licence back straight away and the points wouldn't count.
As I said I am not sure on this you would be best checking with the DVLA.

P.S. You don't actually get banned, you basically just have you licence thrown in the bin and your made to start again. So your back on a provisional, so you just need to retake a test to re-instate all catagories on your licence.

Saw a mito the other day in a bike shop, it looked like it had a really hard life and the chain was a rusty brown Crying or Very sad

, If the guy wasn't looking a grand for it, it would have been a good fixer upper!

Had an RS (not to bad condition considering the mito) too though the previous owner had abused it with what looked like stickers that came free with a box of cereal Evil or Very Mad

I don't think another 125 will help you, neither will getting a bigger bike, will be a LOT easier to rack up the points on a bigger machine.

I'd stay off the road for a while and get rid of the points, and then think about it.
