baotian bt125 t7 boot lock pita!

Gf's chinky chong ped has decided to be a pain and go all chinese bike style and fall apart.

The boot got stuck so after bending panels and squeezing hand into tight spaces i managed to get it open to get boot tray out to inspect why it got stuck, turns out the catch and barel had falled out/off.

Took panel off went to re-attach only to find it dosent "attach" so to speak, its just a flat piece of metal that somehow sits on the inside of the fairing?

tried to bodge with araldite it didn't work, that night when she was parked up someone twisted the barel popped boot stole her petrol and shit out her boot.

I may have it completely wrong but i cannot find any way for it to go on and stay on, dosen't even bolt on to anything.


Anyone have one fancy taking a picture/ explaining how it actualy goes on?

Normally there's the barrel on the outside with a bit of a lip on it then the inside there's grooves on the barrel and you put a clip on the other side easy if this isn't the case for you send a pic of the barrel and the inside of panel

Chinese bikes will be Chinese but boatain is quite a good chink
