This is rather for driving but I post this here.

Being annoyed at dazzling HIDs at night driving,
I bought this one. clip-on sunglasses.(spalding cp-9)
Attachable to most glasses with one touch, can be flipped up.

Some non-sense drivers attach aftermarket HID valves on normal light mirror,
it cause scattered reflection and dazzle drivers but such person don't care about it.

Some say wearing sunglasses at night driving is dangerous, but closing my eyes or covering
my eys with my hands were very dangerous.

I chouse light brown lens which has 54% of transmittance and 59% of Pola(?). I read lens with strong Pola aren't good for driving cause you will lose distance sense.

This was good for night driving. I can easily flip up when it's too dark.

These clip-on sunglasses are made for fishing, but I got an advice on some forum.
I don't have to shout at cars with dazzling HID kits anymore.
I haven't tried this for riding yet.

To stop being dazzled/blinded by arseholes with overly-bright lights.

o_O I'd never wear sunglasses/anything tinted at night especially with my feeble headlight! Never had any issues with other peoples lights....

Have you ever tried it? I was always under that same impression until one time I got caught out in the dark with just my black visor. I rode most of the way with the visor open but my eyes kept watering with the faster roads.

With the black visor down I could still see surprisingly well. Smile

Would those be those blue headlights that are stupidly bright?

The ones that are designed to be LESS dazzling but are, in fact MORE dazzling?
I saw a youtube clip of a taxi driver arguing with some businessperson/owner of a company that marketed these headlights or something. The taxi driver was insisting that they were much more dazzling than normal headlights and were dangerous and annoying, the businessman kept replying with answers like "our tests show that X% of Y% is Z% therefore you're wrong. No, I don't drive, I get driven..."

If setup correctly, they perhaps are better, then generally aim better in factory fitted setups (Projector headlights), However everybody that fits HID's into normal headlight bowls usually end up with a dodgy aim.

I have HID's.
