...okay you're thinking this should be in offtopic section - bear with me it is bike related.

Saw a bit of Emmerdale the other night, don't ask me about characters and names as it isn't my normal viewing.
Some dark haired woman/teenager was riding about on a scooter without doing up her helmet (ok in a later shot it was, Thumbs Down for continuity there), no gloves, in fact no protection at all apart from the lid Rolling Eyes Evil or Very Mad

Has anyone seen this or complained about this bad example?

Is this normal for TV to portray powered 2 wheel riders as complete morons or OTT thugs (ohh no, biker gang). Someone please tell me MAG or one of the other groups noticed.

- off now to talk this over with my old friends Jim Bean, Jack Daniels and Mr. Walker. Very Happy

If Mary Whitehouse was still alive you could have told her.

You'd have to be pretty sad and fucked up to want to copy what you see in a soap. In fact riding around without your lid fastened would be the least of your problems...

Is it just me, or has Emmerdale turned into a combination between the dark side of Dibley and Eastenders?

I'm not sure if it's a particularly bad example to viewers. If you watch Emmerdale you probably deserve road rash, and you have already probably suffered severe head injuries on a number of occasions. Laughing
