Insurance renewal time...who to avoid?

Ok its time for my renewal and dial direct (who have been with for 3 years now) want £160 to cover the zzr600.
Not a massive amount I know BUT times are hard etc.
a quick quote thru "thebikeinsurer" comes up with H&R insurance at £90 but I have never heard of them: edit: the first few infact are pretty close in price but H&R are offering overseas cover too which may be handy,
out of this list which would be recommended

I think most under writers are all the same, mainly equity red star.

Broker only differ. I think Paddy had/has insurance for H&R and he said they are good.

Personally I would just go with cheapest, all of them will try to rip you off when claiming or amending details.

I'm with be wiser as they offered best price for what I wanted.

Carole naish are a bit crap on the admin side, getting docs sent etc but don't blatantly go out to rip you off, so far the best of the bunch in recent years.

I'm with Express Insurance and while I haven't made a claim with them yet, everytime I have called up about some kind of issue, they have been great.

It also means you can then get Express Breakdown Cover and that really was fantastic.

So Express gets the thumbs up from me.

I've always used Direct Choice (Not to be mistaken with Direct Line).
They've always provided me with the best quotes (Yes i know quotes are subjective)

After my entanglement with a cyclist and me been silly and not mentioning the accident in my renewal they we're very good about picking up the case when the b*stard decided to sue me months later.
