Ok, I own an MZ ETZ 125, it's not quick and it's not pretty, but for the forseeable future it's my pride and joy.

I just wonder what I can do to tart it up a bit. The first thing I want to do it take the rack off and respray it as there's a bit of rust on it.

I'd like to change the bars cosmetically and the levers need re-spraying, and the speedo/rev meter could look better.

If this was a sports bike I could think of a million things to do to tart it up. i.e anodized bits, tarty master cylinder like I saw in the newest fast bikes magazine (very very nice) etc.

anyone got any effective tarting up tips?

Gaz

Well MZ's Strokers don't do tarty, and as they say why polish a turd Razz.

Just ride it and don't worry what it looks like, or buy an RS125 if you want tarty Razz.

Maybe a bikini fairing?

Or go for the police bike look :-

Or leave the bike as-is and start wearing flares :-

Very Happy

Your one IS tarty as MZs go. Keep riding it and be thankful it isn't a trophy.

Or you could make a race replica.

This has the same engine as yours!

But I always liked the trials type styling
