Hey everyone,
I went to look at an NSR yesterday and I like it and my mate checked it over and said mechanically its in good nick, but i was just wondering if the pricing on it is decent or not.

Its an 02 Honda NSR 150, its done 20,000ks but has been maintained really well, got some paintwork patch-ups from an instance with a skyline, ummm regularly serviced but never had the rings done (the guy said he was told NSRs only need them every 35,000ks...is this right?) and i think thats about it.
good tyres, good breaks etc, and its being offered for 3,500 with a November Rego.

I'm looking to get a small learners bike under 250cc (i'm 4'11 so when i say small i mean it lol), but i want a reliable one for around 3K.

Any advice?

It really depends where you live. If its U.S dollars or Australian dollars then yes your looking at an alright deal. If its in pounds your looking at $8,000 Australian which is very expensive for a second hand 150.

As far as I am aware, the rings are supposed to be replaced every 12800 kilometers, not whatever rubbish that bloke was going on about.

At least if it's anything similar to the 125.

As for sitting on it, you'd have to be incredibly small not to be able to sit on an NSR Smile .
