Apparently the Driver of the volvo did not have a license or insurance either, this was not mentioned on the BBC report.

there is no accounting for the luck factor, or the conditions, or the idiots on the roads...

but dont stack the odds against yourself, there is no way to tell, but there is also no way to say he wouldnt have been better off, broken ankle, leg, foot is infinetely preferrable to negative limbs

But why on earth do papers feel the need to tell the entire world when a motorcycleist has been injured? people hack their arms off or get killed on building sites every day and you never hear about it Question Confused
