So on my carb-fed 400cc V-Twin Honda, it'll be running fine, then I'll pull up at lights. Then, maybe 1 in 20 times when I open the throttle, it'll do a sort of dull pop (instead of pulling), then pull fine. It doesn't seem to hurt anything, just means the bike takes 1 second longer to pull away.

Any ideas? It seems to go away if I set the idle a little higher (it idles evenly and almost silently at 1000rpm, but sounds 'happier' at 1200rpm)

OK i'm a newb, so I'd rather somebody else confirm this, but could it be gummy idle jets?
