On a trip home from work last night and my speedo suddenly stopped working on my mtx 125. Possible causes?? Ways to check what is failing??? Answers welcomed, all advice greatly recieved!!

Need a new cable. Undo and pull inner cable out to check. If inner is in one pice then your drive at the wheel wants looked at. Most times its just bent lugs but my money is on your cable.

Happened to me before, too. Somehow the cable inside twisted and snapped. As said, it must be your cable
