are there many around? searches seem to just throw up old style cb400/4's

There are usually a few on ebay at any given time. I have seen a few around the Southampton area where I live. Not exactly common but they are around. I really wish you hadn't brought this up. I just found this beautiful thing on eBay.

i have the big brother the cb1000 superfour (project bigone)
which is neigh on identical in style, but fitted with a cbr1000 motor,

Ridden one.

Not too fantastic, but for a new rider/bike for round town, its a blast. Fantastic noises from that engine too.

i saw that one on ebay too. i got an insurance quote and it was only a few quid more to insure than my h100 so that bodes well for some time next year when i pass my test.

seems a reoccurring theme, people missing them dearly after selling up.


paddy when you say not fantastic what do you mean? slow? poor handling?

Another big brother owner! Getting rarer by the day!

They do say the 400 is a better balanced machine although I've never ridden one.

I like em, I think they're all imports? Usual give away is no grab rail.
