Hi guys.
Just a warning, i had a bike manual for sale on here, i did not want big bucks for it, only postage really as i did not want to throw it away and i thought some one could make use of it.
Some one of the forum had it of me.
I posted it out to them on august 7th and have still not had any money or even thanks Thumbs Down
They ignored my messages for a a time then give me a story that the mate it was for had gone away on for a month though did not mention this when told them i was posting it out......

You know who you are and i hope some one does the same too you some time Evil or Very Mad

Yeah generally forum members tend to help each other out and give a bit more than they would to eBay or some other unknown buyer/seller. Bit shit when someone gets shafted after a good will gesture.

Ja, same here. I've gone out twice and collected bikers I didnt know from our SA forum and trailered their bikes back. I didnt ask for money for fuel or anything up front. Other people volunteered tie down straps which they would not get back.

One of them offered to pay my diesel, but I said no thanks, it is OK. Took him to a friend's place, who had a spare bike battery to fit. It was a sunday. he installed the battery and the rider rode off, and paid the money later. The wheel always turns. One day when Im stuck someone will come collect me and ask for nothing.

The OP is a helpful trusting sort. people will remember, and when he needs help no one will mind helping him.

Sometimes when you have something that can help another and it is not much loss to you to offer, why not just do it? If that person who recieves instead of being grateful is of the mindset 'wow, i really scammed him and got a freebie', well so be it. One day it will backfire on them. But I wont let it make me feel bitter or bad.

No need to name. Let the cretin feel ashamed. It is his conscience.
