Suzuki GSX650F - advice/info from owners appreciated

Just done the usual Sat morning trundle around the dealers & have to say, having never contemplated getting one that after
sitting on one & looking it over thoroughly I may well be tempted.

Anyone with 1st hand knowledge/ownership of Suzuki GSX650F ?

Obviously a test ride will happen before any commitment, but would appreciate input from folks who ride or have owned one.

My son has a 2011 model, very smooth ride, all day confortable, good size tank and range, quite quick in my opinion, spares readily available. I found it equaly at home on the motorway or the twisties, slightly heavier and wider than my ER6 but you can still filter ok on it, fairly upright riding position. I'd have one.

The faired bandit? My brother has the unfaired one and the blandit name is sadly applicable. I just found nothing really interesting or remarkable about it when i had a quick go. Front end felt remote even compared to my tatty old VFR. I'm sure the fairing improves it a bit, but still a bit...meh.
