I have a CB250 (tubeless tyres) and I've had a few punctures
lately.

Been talking to a few bikers about "SLIME" which is one of those
bung it in the tyre and prevents punctures.

Does this crap really work???

M&P sell it and other products like it.

Advise please, I'm a courier and it would save me getting stuck
with a puncture and losing money.

(HELP stinkwheel, need your input, you seem to know a thing
or three!)

It does work very well actually, the only problem is getting it out, allot of tyre places wont deal with the stuff afaik, you can imagine haveing to scoop the stuff out again...

What you could do it get a spare pair of wheels (can't be very expensive for the cb250, is it the 250 or two fifty?) you can take one set off and take the other clean set to the tyre place while you clean the gunk out of the other... just a thought...

It will stop minor (which is most i guess) punctures provided they dont get anywhere near the side wall..

Isn't that going to mean faffing around with new sprockets and chains and things? Also, isn't taking old tyres off rims a pain in the arse w/o the right equipment? Just a thought again, it does sound to me like quite a good idea otherwise. Thumbs Up

AFAIK, Slime is best used for tubed tyres.
