Naked VFR Q

Has anyone seen or got any pics of a respectable looking VFR with fairings removed, (or any not-so respectable ones for that matter)? A mate of mine did his Hayabusa and it looked quite good. He had Carbon covers made for the sides and it actually looked quite decent. The problem with the VFR is the Rads on the side - not so much them as they can be made to look OK but the transition from the area where the rads sit and the front forks just looks all wrong.
I'm not a big fan of bodywork, it hides what for me is the most interesting part of a bike - the motor and can make maintenance a chore. On the other hand, I don't like some of the (dare I say it), "streetfighters" that are cobbled together.

Telling us which VFR model would be good. But you do mention side-mounted rads which means either the 800FI or 800VTEC i think. Does the new 1200 have side mounted rads? Not sure. I'm with you on crap streetfighters, and liking the idea of being able to see the engine etc. though. My 750 looks rubbish with the sidepanels off, i think some serious reconstructive surgery would be required to make it look decent as a streetfighter.

ive seen it done with 2 front mounted rads, 1 above the cylinder, and 1 below,
thats how it was done with the old vf's
