Hi,

Anyone know if it's possible to have the collector repaired on Bandit downpipes and if so who can do it/how much in the Midlands?

Mine leaks a fair bit which is affecting its starting now it's getting colder.

It`s probably better to replace them with newer ones from ebay, once rust gets a hold you may be filling holes till there is nothing to weld

A quick fix to help starting would be gun gum or exhaust paste and a chopped up tin can, you can buy a kit of this sort of thing at most car spares shops

The rust had already been cut off. It looks and feels very solid what is left, it's just the flanges that are now gone.

I would get a new set but they are £200 ish which i cant afford after just dropping a new set of tyres on the bike.
