On the bike this morning filtering down the outside of a stationary line of traffic, when splat! Shocked
A fiesta pulled out from a side street in front of me I swerved to avoid him couldn't, clipped the front bumper, bike went one way and I went the other over the car into the road.
The bike is in a bad way cosmetically; both fairings smashed, indicators smashed, top fairing smashed, back brake lever broke and the radiator is a funny shape! Crying or Very sad Haven't tried running it since but I think apart from the radiator it is cosmetic, however from an insurance point of view fairings are not cheap to replace.

As for me I have hurt my knee and am on crutches with a hospital appointment tomorrow.

So it looks like been a few months without 2 wheels. Crying or Very sad whilst insurance companies sort out. (Well at least it's nearly winter!)

Ack. I presume that from the 'pulled out on' you part, it was his fault? I hope the insurance all works out okay, and your witnesses/ you got their plate.

Did you have to get carted off to the hospital or anything? Good luck with the knee. Thumbs Up People seem to crash with some regularity here, just recently there's been a bit of a spate. Confused
