I'm after an in-car CCTV setup for under £100, the cheaper the better but need something that won't drain the car battery, so would be good if it came with its own power supply.

I need it mostly for nights, the parking space isn't lit great but not pitch black.

I've looked at the road hawk but the 'CCTV' Mode is just a side feature so not worth spending all that cash just or one mode.

Doesn't have to be super quality, just enough to make out a face.

Cheers.

how bout tying the camera's "charger" into the ciggy lighter circuit. assuming it requires the ignition on you can charge it up as you use the car and let it run on a decent capacity battery when its off.

I'll give this a try. I was also thinking of a battery pack, something you'd charge MP3 players with, not sure if this would be any good though? If not I'll go down the ciggy lighter route.
